This session allows you to learn more about our services and understand how we operate. It's an opportunity for us to get to know you better and identify how we can best support you on your journey to motherhood. Moreover, it gives you a chance to see if our approach aligns with your needs and if you feel comfortable starting this transformative journey with us.
  • How do I prepare for my first session with Mind to Womb?
    For a productive first session at Mind to Womb, follow these tips: 1. Complete the Intake Form: Fill out the intake form emailed to you after booking. It provides us with crucial background information. 2. Reflect on Your Goals: Think about what you hope to achieve, such as managing stress, overcoming anxiety, or preparing for motherhood. 3. Prepare Questions or Concerns: List any questions or concerns about the process or your mental health to discuss during the session. 4. Mental and Emotional Readiness: Approach the session with an open mind, ready for honest dialogue. These steps will help you start a meaningful and empowering journey at Mind to Womb.
  • What should I expect during a session at Mind to Womb?
    At Mind to Womb, our sessions are tailored to support and empower women on their journey to motherhood through personalised counselling and coaching. Typically, a 1:1 session lasts around 60 minutes, although the exact length can vary depending on the package booked and your specific needs. During a session, you can expect a combination of self-reflective exercises, therapeutic practices, and actionable self-work to be completed between sessions. Whether the focus is on coaching or counselling, we will work closely with you to create a customized plan that addresses your individual challenges and goals. Each session is designed to provide a supportive and nurturing environment, helping you navigate your journey with confidence and clarity.
  • What if the support area I want is not listed?
    A: Absolutely! At Mind to Womb, we understand that the journey to motherhood is unique for every woman and may involve a range of different challenges and needs. The list of services on our page is not exhaustive and is meant to give an overview of some of the many ways we can support you. We encourage you to book an initial consultation, where we can discuss your specific concerns and tailor our counselling and coaching services to meet your unique needs. Your well-being is our top priority, and we are here to empower you every step of the way!
  • What is the difference between coaching and counselling at Mind to Womb?
    At Mind to Womb, coaching is goal-oriented and offers guidance to help you achieve specific mental and emotional objectives. Counselling is therapy-based, providing emotional support to address psychological issues. Both services aim to empower you on your journey to motherhood by offering personalised support.
  • What platform do you use for virtual sessions at Mind to Womb?
    At Mind to Womb, we use Microsoft Teams for all our virtual counselling and coaching sessions. After you book an appointment, an automatic link for the virtual meeting will be sent to you via email. This makes it super easy and convenient to connect with us from the comfort of your home! If, for any reason, you are unable to use Microsoft Teams, just drop us an email after booking, and we will gladly make alternative arrangements to ensure you receive the support you need. Our goal is to empower your journey to motherhood with seamless and flexible mental health support.
  • What happens if I cannot make an appointment?
    At Mind to Womb, we understand that motherhood can be exceptionally busy and unpredictable. Therefore, we encourage flexibility and support our clients by allowing appointment changes free of charge, as long as they are made at least 24 hours in advance. If you find yourself unable to attend a scheduled appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. This policy ensures that you can receive the care and support you need without added stress.
  • Are the sessions at Mind to Womb confidential?
    Yes, all sessions at Mind to Womb are strictly confidential. We adhere to the highest standards of privacy for all our clients, ensuring a safe and secure environment for you to discuss personal matters. The information shared in your sessions will not be disclosed to anyone without your explicit consent. However, there are certain legal exceptions to confidentiality that we must comply with. These include situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or in cases of mandatory reporting requirements such as abuse or neglect. Rest assured, these instances are rare, and our primary goal is to support you in a confidential and respectful manner throughout your journey to motherhood.
